In life as in business one of the things we at Amar Arte value most is truth. From truth comes trust. When the truth makes space for lies, there can no longer be trust. And without trust, there can be no collaboration.

 

When an artist intentionally falsifies the date of his or her artwork, for whatever reason this may be, there can no longer be trust. Not only is such practice totally unacceptable in the world of art, it is also against the law. We as a gallery can and will not support such practice.

 

Hence it is with a heavy art we make this announcement. In order to protect ourselves as a gallery, we believe this is the correct decision to take.
