"My work is an invitation to experience painting in its intersection with design. It places emphasis on color as desire and joy, and from the playful and as a party favor, it is uneasy between the pattern and the gesture, between the motive and the whim."
In her work there is something of celebration, ornament and party favors: from a playful point of view, painting for Soledad is an act of pure celebration. Besides of being an artist, she's also a graphic designer and teacher. Soledad was born in Olavarría ( Buenos Aires province ) in 1975, studied Graphic Design at FADU UBA and has a degree in Social Communication (FACSO-UNICEN). Since 2011 she has been training in clinics and workshops: In 2012 she was selected to join the International Artists Program in Montevideo Uruguay, coordinated by Daniel Fischer. From 2013 to 2017 she carried out a construction clinic and workshop with Diana Aisenberg.
