Dear friends and art lovers,

After two meaningful years, we have decided to close the gallery—for now.
It has been an intense and beautiful journey, with many highlights and valuable lessons. Due to the current economic climate, changes in the art market, and the realities of running a gallery today, we feel it is time to pause.
​
This moment also opens a new chapter for me personally. In early 2026, I will publish my first book, Dancing Out of the Dark, an intimate memoir set in the world of Buenos Aires tango. I will also be completing my master’s thesis on the symbolism of footwear in contemporary Latin American art.

nuestra historia
Amar Arte es una galería de arte con sede en Buenos Aires, apasionada por celebrar la dinámica escena artística argentina. Nos dedicamos a mostrar el talento de artistas principalmente argentinos en cada etapa de sus carreras, ya sean voces emergentes o nombres consagrados.
Cada artista que representamos encarna el vibrante espíritu de nuestro país. La galería fue fundada por Karin Dhadamus, belga de nacimiento, quien actualmente cursa una Maestría en Curaduría de Arte Contemporáneo en la Universidad ESEADE de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Karin también es licenciada en Derecho por la Universidad Católica de Lovaina (1988) y tiene una Maestría en Economía y Política Internacional por la Universidad Johns Hopkins, Washington D.C. (1990).
A menos de dos años de fundar la galería, Amar Arte ya participó en la Feria de Arte Asequible de Bruselas (AAF BXL) de 2024 y 2025, donde expusimos obras de Sebastián Chillemi y Eduardo Santiago, junto con creaciones de Pablo Guiot, Luciana Guiot y Gia.
En 2025, también fuimos invitados a la Feria ArtUp! de Lille y tuvimos el honor de ser seleccionados para la exitosa primera edición de la Feria de Arte Asequible de Viena. Amar Arte también representa a las artistas Soledad Rolleri, las artistas textiles Verónica Orlando e Inés Devoto, Antonia Guzman y Claudia Brito Souza.
